Basement Renovation

Project Details:

A complete basement remodel. The original basement had wood paneling, wall paper, ceiling tile, and outdated carpet. We removed everything and replaced with drywall, updated carpet, and tile flooring. We also removed the older style brick fire place and replaced it with an electric corner fireplace. The floor joist above was painted dark to create an industrial look. Instead of one large room, we created walls to form a living area with a fireplace and a bar, guest bedroom, storage closet, as well as a bathroom. We removed all lighting fixtures and installed recessed lighting. To obtain more natural light, glass block windows were also installed.
