Veterinary Hospital

Veterinary Hospital

Dr. Ryan Zimmerman’s vision was to build a full-service animal hospital.  He wanted to treat emergency cases, less urgent medical, surgical, and dental issues.   He hired Zimmerman Building Company to build his vision.

The Zimmerman crew worked closely with an architect to design and construct a state of the art facility.

  • The flow of the building was important. Greeting owners and pets, waiting in the lobby, caring then exiting the facility needed to be easy.
  • The design of cabinets, storage and disposal needed to be convenient for employees. A pass thru between rooms allowed accessibility without interruption to pet patient care.
  • The hospital space was designed for surgical procedures, recovery room, digital radiology, ultrasound, dental care and an in-house laboratory.
  • The flooring needed to be durable and clean up friendly.
  • Security system and cameras were mounted to monitor daycare and boarding areas.
  • Custom sign was designed

The crew collaborated with local subcontractors.  Projects included plumbing, electric, HVAC, flooring, painting, masonry, blacktop and striping the parking lot.

The facility is located on a major state route highway.  Because of the traffic flow, safety for the crews and the general public was the emphasized throughout the project.
